Discover the magic of jewellery making with silver clay in this packed 3 hour session. If you've ever wanted to make jewellery from silver clay but cannot commit to a full day workshop then this is for you. And, for the first time, you'll be able to enjoy this workshop from the comfort of your own home. And with 2 time slots available as well as a recorded version, there should be something to suit your lifestyle.

Course Description: This 3 hour workshop is ideal for beginners who don’t know how to get started with silver clay. During a jam packed session, you will learn all about silver clay and make our tiered heart shaped pendant (or your version of it) using the most basic of tools. You do not need any experience whatsoever to join this workshop. Just bring your enthusiastic self. You will be shown how to create a stunning tiered heart pendant using a variety of skills and techniques. Level: Complete beginner The session will guide you, step by step and you’ll learn the following skills: Setting up your workstation Handling and how to store the clay. How to add textures How to shape and cut the clay. How to dry and refine your pieces Joining silver clay components We will show you how to torch fire your pendant and you'll also earn about the different firing methods How to drill your silver ready for a bail. How to polish and finish your pieces. When you're finished we will show you how to attach a bail and a chain to your pendant.
We have 2 booking options available:
Workshop and Starter Kit Bundle - all the essentail tools you need to start your silver clay journey at home. This starter kit includes cutters and textures for this tiered heart pendant project. We even include 5g silver clay, more than enough for this project. Please note: the starter kit does not include a blow torch. See equipment list for receommentations.
For those of you who have all the basic tools and materials but just want to join the workshop, that's fine, simply choose ONLINE WORKSHOP ONLY in the drop down menu.
BOOKING: How it works: Simply book and pay for session and we will contact you with your confirmation. Approximately 2 weeks before the workshop we will ship your starter kit and about a week before, we will email you your Zoom access code.
If you cannot make your live session, you will be able to access the recording of the session within 48 hours of the session end. If you plan to make the live session but are unable to do so after your code has been issued, please contact us no more than 48 hours before the start of the session so that we can reallocate you another session slot.
