Morning Workshop:  Make your own zodiac pendant.

Duration: 2 1/2 hours - 10am-12.30pm

Skill Level: Beginner

Come and discover the magic of making jewellery with silver clay in this special beginner workshop.  If you've always wanted to make jewellery with silver clay but don't know where to start then this workshop is for you.

During the session, you will learn all about silver clay and learn to make a beautiful zodiac pendant.  We will teach you how to cut, texture and shape your clay and how to create your zodiac design.  You'll be shown how to drill a hole in order to attach your bail and how to refine and prepare your pendant for firing.

Once it's fired, you will be given some tips on polishing and finishing.  We'll show you how to attach your bail and your chain and you're done.  And the great thing is, you'll be able to take your pendant away with you or even wear it straight away.

All tools and equipment are provided, even silver clay, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm. 

Over 12's only for this workshop.  Under 16's to be accompanied by a paying adult.

Afternoon Workshop: Tiered Heart Pendant

Duration: 2 1/2 Hours - 1.30pm-4pm

Skill Level: Beginner 

Our special 'Tiered Heart' pendant workshop is ideal for beginners so if you've every wanted to make jewellery with silver clay then this for you.

During a jam packed session you will learn all about silver clay and all the tools you need to create your own tiered heart pendant.

You will be shown how to set up your workstation and how to prepare your tools.  From there, we will guide you through your project, learning how to cut, texture and shape your silver clay.

You'll be shown how to join your silver clay without soldering, how to drill a hole for your bail and then prepare your piece for firing.

Once your pendant is fired, we will introduce you to some polishing and finishing techniques that will make your heart pendant stand out. We’ll show you how to attach your bail and chain and your pendant will be ready to wear or we’ll give you a gift pouch if you’ve made it for someone special.

All tools, materials, even silver clay are provided, you just need to bring your enthusiasm.
